Evolving to a Sustainable Open-Core Model
Before the release of our advanced Live SDK voice engines, IRIS was completely free and 100% open-source. However, to sustain continuous development, visual overrides, and advanced tooling updates, IRIS has evolved to a **partially open-source (Open-Core) model**.
• Disclosed: Part of the frontend UI visual elements and select preload bridging APIs are fully open and publicly inspectable.
• Protected: The core voice routing engine, private system-level scripts execution, and the backend AI agent orchestration files remain protected inside V8 binary bytecode and are not disclosed in public repositories.
• Code Access Inclusions: To back the project, a Pro Licensee subscription of a minimum of $15/mo (IRIS Insider) grants read access to the iris-insiders repository containing functional hooks and code snippets. *Note that this does not provide the full code*. The complete, raw, unprotected source code is only provided under the $50/mo (Alpha & Enterprise) tier.

Ecosystem Administrative Fees & Refund Policy Summary
Due to the nature of perpetual software licenses and our Secure Checkout architecture, all transactions for the IRIS Pro Engine are 100% final and non-refundable.
Upon sponsoring, you gain immediate, irrevocable access to the private repository network and raw binaries. Because we cannot mathematically verify deletion of local offline software packages, we cannot issue chargeback adjustments.
Please download and install the free IRIS Base Engine to verify that configuration, BYOK API tokens, and visual panels connect properly on your hardware before initiating your checkout (Desktop ₹1041, Mobile ₹938, or Bundle ₹1685 including platform fee).
If an account is banned for terms violations (fake chargebacks, AI misuse, brand defamation), unban requests require clearing the ₹1000 Gateway Dispute Fine plus paying mandatory administrative fines: ₹500 (1st offense), ₹1500 (2nd offense), and ₹5000 (3rd offense). After 3 offenses, no further unbans are granted.
Dual Licensing Distribution Agreement
Standard UI layout configurations, templates, widgets, and IPC preloads are governed under the open-source MIT License. You are free to modify layouts, connect public hooks, and integrate layouts.
Private repository scripts, custom core hooks, experimental agent parameters, and bytecode engines require commercial developer permissions. Redistribution of compiled V8 main loops is prohibited.
